Thinking Spring - The Power of Flowers (as a garnish that is!)

Edible flowers that have not been sprayed with pestacides, and that are organically grown, make the nicest garnish for your cookies or tea. While the flower is fresh, dress with a light coat of egg whites (lightly beaten) and some sugar, and you have a wonderful treat for the eye and for the palate.

(Of course, if you are like me, you will find your favorite retail source for the flowers already dusted with sugar, and buy them!)
Enjoy!

Tea with Ben - Manners, Manners, Manners

As always and not just when having Tea With Ben, wait patiently until all guests arrive before beginning the procession known as taking tea! Once all the guests arrive, open your eyes, stretch slightly, and then begin the conversation by thanking those who are joining you for their kind acceptance to your invitation.

Thanks for stopping by!
